The displays are web pages on the boat’s own network, so a regatta setup can be retrofitted temporarily and taken off again, and crew can use their own phones and watches rather than kit you have to buy. The honest constraint is battery: over a long day, keeping personal devices alive is what needs planning, not the software.

Helm, trimmer, pit and mast, navigator, bowman — each position sees what its own job is measured on. The same engine carries the briefing and checklist for every manoeuvre, and prompts the crew on what to check as conditions move.

The same engines that read a real yacht’s instruments also drive our simulator, so a crew can sail a regatta on land — every role, every manoeuvre — and replay it exactly afterwards.

  • Your own role, trained for youEvery position aboard has its own place in the session. Each person trains on the job they actually do rather than a generic view of the boat, and the whole crew sails the same race at the same time.
  • Your yacht, your proceduresThe 3D model and the manoeuvre procedures can be adapted to a specific vessel, so a crew trains on their own boat, running their own SOPs — not a stand-in.

The Simulator Room

A whole crew, ashore, sailing the same leg.

Fifteen people in a room, one boat on the big screen, each of them on their own station — the same engines that read a real instrument network driving all of it.

This is not a game.

It is a simulation built for performance and for safety. Everything in it is there because it changes what a crew does on the water, not because it makes the boat more fun to drive.

  • The same code path as a real boatThe onboard product reads the simulator through exactly the pipeline it uses on a real yacht. What a crew trains against is what they will see on the water.
  • Performance from real certificatesBoat speed comes from published ORC and ORCsy rating certificates, with the source stamped into every polar file — not numbers we invented to make it feel fast.
  • It replays byte-identicallyEvery session is recorded and replays exactly: the same race, the same result, every time. That is what makes a debrief a record rather than an argument.
  • Skill is pricedSteering hard costs speed. Trimming well is measurably faster than the autopilot. Doing it properly is rewarded, which is the whole point of training on it.

We are developing the 3D side with Unreal Engine 5, building interactive experiences from outside the boat and from on deck, for racing and for training. Captured from the engine as it runs; the developer overlay has been cropped away and nothing else was touched.
